Japanese Meiji period tea caddy with interior lid. Measures 5” x 3” x 3.” Tin lined. Beautiful, detailed casting of Chrysanthemums. The exterior layer looks like bronze that had a gilt to it at some point, the piece does have weight to it but folks I talked with think it might be cast white metal. A magnet does not stick. Upon close inspect on the bottom a seam from the sides can be seen. Condition – structurally excellent. No dents or repairs. . I describe each item to the best of my knowledge & include many photos. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN 4 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION! DO NOT BID IF YOU AREN’T GOING TO PAY!!!!!!!!!! Winner pays exact shipping. Check out my other auctions! Good Luck!
