I am pleased to offer to you an antique majolicamonastic pilgrim flask by Certosa di Firenze, used by the Carthusian order of monks in Italy in the 19th century. The ceramic flask is in the highly desirable color way in yellow and gold on an ivory background. On the front is the Certosa di Firenze emblem, the back a light rose Fleur de Lis. The side lion's heads or gargoyles are in green and pink. Rare to find on any of the existing flasks is the original cord. A cork is not included. The condition is very good with no major cracks or chips. Very small nicks are present on the neck, one on the Fleur de Lis and the lions. Measurements are 4 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" tall x 2 1/4" deep. The cord is approximately 8" hanging.Pay Pal only.
