Bill “Moose” Skowron Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat You are bidding on a previously owned and played with Louisville Slugger baseball bat. It is a 125 model with the name signature Bill “Moose” Skowron stamped on the barrel. The knob has the number 3 stamped on it. It is 33 inches long. It is approximately 33 ounces. It is marked Hillerich and Bradsby Co. It was manufactured in Louisville, Ky. It was pat.’d U.S. Pat. Off. All printing on the bat is rubbed and worn. The bat shows some fading. There are some very small dents on the backside of the bat near the crown. No cracks noted. Knob is not chipped. There is a small cut on the knob that can be felt. For a bat that is over 50 years old it is in pretty good shapes. It does have some scratches and a couple of small white paint smudges. William Joseph Skowron was born on December 18, 1930 and died on April 27, 2012. He was nicknamed “Moose” and was an American professional baseball first baseman. He played thirteen seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1954 to 1967 for the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Washington Senators, Chicago White Sox, and California Angels.
