Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape and flat-cut neck socket that fits perfectly to dowel of composition torso, pale blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer rims, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Schmitt pink plaster pate, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, cupped hands, flat-cut derriere, shapely ankles, original undergarments, ivory silk stockings, ivory kid slippers signed J ; included is ice blue silk frock with patterned silk panel. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0 Bte SGDG (head) Bte (derriere). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1877, the earliest model bebe from that firm with distinctive head/torso attachment that appeared for one or two years only.
