An Incredible American Three Dimensional , Clipper Ship Hand made Diorama, In Excellent Original Overall Condition. This Diorama includes the 3 Masted Clipper Ship Showing the American Flag and the Captain can be seen on the Front Area of the Vessel. Also seen is a Lighthouse on the Lower Left Corner, and a Tug Boat seen in the Lower Right Corner. This Diorama Depicts the Winter Storm of 1875, off the Coast of Maine. There is some very Mild Paint Loss seen in the Sky area, merely Attesting to the Age of this Diorama. This is One of the Few Dioramas that I have ever seen or Owned that has the Latch Hooks where the Shadow Boxed Back Portion meets the Frame, allowing the Frame and Glass to be Removed for Cleaning the Interior. It has an Estimated Shop or Show value of between 3,400.00 ,and 3,800.00. It is one of the Finest Surviving Examples that you'll ever see. It measures ( Frame Outside ) 38 3/4" wide x 22" high.
