For sale is a beautiful handmade fighter kite . THIS DESIGNED WAS INSPIRED BY MANNY ALVES "TITUS" KITE. MANNY IS AN OUTSTANDING DESIGNER AND INNOVATOR . This kite is made from modern materials. It is very similar to the kites in the "Kite Runner" movie, with additional benefit of more control due to precise building standards from modern materials. The kite is made from white orcon, enhanced with a black orcon SPEARHEAD in the middle section. Orcon is an excellent lightweight reinforced film and suited perfectly for making fighter kites. The white orcon is quite new from the factory. It is very tough and slightly heavier than the black orcon. This kite too, like all the kites I build, has icarex pockets at thewingtips for additional strength. Bow is 0.05 carbon fiber, The spine is flat carbon fiber 5mm X 1mm diameter and has a 2 bead line tensioner to adjust the bend of the spine.Wingspan around 52.5cm S pine length is 44 cm Ideal wind 3 - 10 mph. The kite has a 3 point fully adjustable bridle, and the perimeter is neatly folded and glued for extra strength, with icarex pockets on wingtips for same reason. I will add to the box a strip of white orcon for fixing any future rips/tears which may be caused from normal use. I have test flown this kite and it flies straight and tracks perfectly.
