GENUINE JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT BAMBOO IN EARLY SUMMER by SHIRO KASAMATSU This Genuine Japanese Woodblock Print by Shiro Kasamatsu is Entitled Bamboo in Early Summer. It is in Excellent Condition, Has Never Been Framed, Displays Rich, Well Entrenched Colours and Measures 40.5cm x 27.5cm (1ft 4 inches x 10.8 inches) to the Edges of the Washi. Kasamatsu's Signature and Red Shiro Seal can be Seen in the Lower Right of the Woodblock. The Title In Japanese, Unsodo Publishers Seal, Saji Printer's Seal and Nagashima Carver's Seals Can be Seen in the Left Margin as well as the All Important Authentic Gei Watermark in the Lower Left Corner which is Visible When Held up to the Light. The Kento Cut in the Bottom Right Corner of the Washi Made in the Printing Process is Added Proof of a Genuine Unsodo Origin and T is also the Typical Tiny Unsodo Printing Smudge on the Far Edge of the Right Hand Margin. This Woodblock was Originally Released in 1954 and This Example is a Later Edition Hand Printed from the Original 1954 Woodblocks. Contact us for more pictures or details if required.
