Goebel Hummel 47/0 Goose Girl TMK-1 Double Crown Repaired This darling figurine depicts a young girl face to face with two geese. This figure stands 4 and 3/4 inches tall. The base of this figure is a narrow oval, with the "M. I. Hummel" signature barely visible on the top surface of the base to the right of the figure. The bottom of the figure has a easily seen stamped crown logo, and also a barely visible incised crown towards the bottom of the figure between the two walls of the "donut". A "47/0" is barely visible towards the top of top, between the two walls of the "donut." The bottom of the figure is also stamped "Germany" in black. The double crown dates this figure between 1936 and 1949. I received this charming figure from my mother-in-law, who collected them as a girl. This figure has no chips or crazing, but there is evidence of two minor repairs -- the tip of the hat and the right pigtail have both been repaired. Please examine the photographs carefully. This vintage item is the version modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1936. It is listed in Robert L. Miller's "Tenth Edition of the No. 1 Price Guideto M. I. Hummel Figurines, Plates, and More" valued at $750 to $900.
