Original fin-de-siècle print by Jules Chéret (1836-1932), "Lady", Special Plate No. 16 from the Les Maîtres de l'Affiche series (the special plates by Chéret have their own numbering regime distinct from other plates in this series. ) Printed 1900, Imprimerie Chaix. In good to very good condition (B+/B). The blindstamp present on all Maîtres de l'Affiche prints is located in the lower right corner, see second photo. Some light staining at margins; eraser abrasions by printer information in lower left corner (see third photo) and in one spot on the reverse, though it doesn't bleed through; aged tone to paper and some small marks but otherwise in lovely condition. Sheet size is 15-3/4" x 11-7/16". Ships insured and in a flat, rigid mailer. Please let me know if you have any questions, and take a look at my other listings. I am happy to combine shipping.
