Please review our new policies regarding combined shipping . In Stock and Ready to Ship! This is a Lionel 2440 Tinplate Pullman Car from 1946-47. A carryover from the Prewar Era, the 2440 is essentially the 2640 with coil-type knuckle couplers. Features include tinplate construction, die-cast metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers, interior illumination and metal wheels. It measures 9 1/2 inches long. It matches the 2441 observation car. This car has scratches on the roof and sides of the body. The paint has chipped in a couple places on the edges. There are a few spots of surface rust on the edges where the paint is chipped. This item has been inspected by our Authorized Lionel Service Station. Please see inspection card for details. The lamp socket has been replaced. The original box is not included. Check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good. The Trainz SKU for this item is 3541205.
