The Martin Committee Model cornet, serial number 156797. In one photo, you can see two repair patches on the lead pipe, attached with a black substance. Also in that photo you can see that the couplers on the big back slide have also been reattached; you can see the same black substance. It looks also like the water key receiver on the lead pipe has been reattached. The back brace has been resoldered on both ends. You can see in a photo that one pipe of the front slide has a chunk out of it. The bell is pulled down a little and it's been pushed slightly to the valve side of the horn. As a result the end of the front brace on the bell side has pushed into the horn. There's a crack on the underside of the lead pipe near the mouthpiece receiver. The front finger ring is missing. And there's lots of finish wear damage, scratches and a few dents. I can move all the slides. The valves seem to work normally. So, with a horn of this age and the repairs, plan to spend some money to get the cornet into top playing condition. No mouthpiece, vintage case. Wear on the case and the clamps don't pop up like they should though.
