NOTE: I apologize to those who have tried to contact me recently. I have been quite ill for nearly a month and I'm just now getting to w I can get on the computer again. I am doing what I can. I have recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor and as I'm not sure when I'll be able to return to my "normal" job, I will be liquidating at least some of my personal collection. T are some incredible knives that I would have never parted with under different circumstances. This is an outstanding older custom hunting knife. The knife is very well crafted and is no doubt the work of a skilled maker, though it is completely unmarked. The quality and workmanship are outstanding and are definitely no the procuct of someone's shop project. The maker that crafted this piece had certainly made many prior to this one. The thick blade is very well executed and the grind very precise and fairly complex. The spine features thumb ridges situated just forward of the bolsters. The bolsters were expertly pinned. The handle is of gorgeous hardwood (Cocobolo maybe?) and were also expertly executed. They are shaped and contoured to present a very comfortable and solid grip.
