This is a rare vintage Japanese folktoy wooden spinning top of a six sided die that measures 2.25" high. Instead of having a six sided square die, this one is in the form of a hexagon that is perfectly balanced to land on one of the six numbers. Its age is from the 1960's and the condition is very good. For the gambler or statistician, after 20 tries, the one came up 4 times, the two came up 3 times, the three came up 3 times, the four came up 3 times, the five came up 3 times, and the six came up 4 times for a reasonable random distribution.
