Robin Hood lunch box & thermos. I havent seen this one dated 1956 in any collector book. It does have the same picture on both sides as the one in my book dated 1965, but this one says 1956 Aladdin industries Inc. on the box itself. It also has a leather handle, I'm assuming it is original, but have no way of knowing. The metal thermos does not have the cap. There is rust on most surfaces, with one side being much better displaying quality. The inside has rust, but no holes rusted through anywhere. Overall, for the age, this can be displayed nicely. Thermos has some rust on edges & metal parts, but pictures pretty good. Guide sets value of this box & thermos at $265, of course I know that means in much better condition, BUT you may never find another one to even try to get, thats why I purchased some of mine that werent in great shape.
