These 25 coins are a Proof set of $20 Sterling Silver coins of the British Virgin Islands, produced and released by the Franklin Mint in 1985. These coins commemorate the Age of Piracy in the Caribbean. The coins measure 38mm. Each coin weighs 0.6 oz (15.3 Troy oz. total for all). Face value of each coin is $20 and the face value of the 25-coin set is $500. The coins are housed in a hard case with slots for each coin. This set is for sale on the Franklin Mint website for $912 plus $15 shipping.also enclosed is 18 pages describing 18 of the coins with a map inside each one!
