~*~Hello and thank you for looking~ ~*~Gorgeous!~ Wonderful wonderfully soulful fabric ~ This Blue Vichy fabric dates from the late 1700's and was later re-worked into this long panel, perhaps used as a curtain. ~Vichy was an area of Paris that produced this wonderful check fabric, which was the primary furnishing fabric in the 18th and early 19th century ~*~ This wonderful large piece is made by machine stitching lengths of this lovely Vichy together down the length, so it is a pieced length ~ the most wonderful hand stitched darns on this stunning panel, very artfully stitched ~ the blue has faded to a warm, pale soft tone of faded denim blue, just GORGEOUS ~ this fabric is 100% cotton~~ the Vichy is extremely finely woven ~ this panel is ideal for hanging as is, lovely backed for curtains, or beautiful for projects such as decorative pillows etc ~*~ ~*~ ( panel 12J ) MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful piece measures 29 inches wide by 74 inches long ~ CONDITION : This textile is freshly laundered and ready to use. There are many hand stitched darns on this wonderful length. There are some pale marks that didn't wash. There are a few very small holes in this fabric also some tiny holes visible when held to the light. ~*~You will never have to pay any Customs or Duty charges on my textiles posted to an address within the United States, read more
