~*~Hello and thank you for looking~ ~*~One of my very favorite Vichy check pieces ~*~ this gorgeous antique French fabric dates from the late 1700's and would have been used as part of a bed set, most likely. Someone re-used it later and there is a machine stitched hem that runs along the bottom of this glorious length ~ this piece has faded BEAUTIFULLY with time and has become a true pale pink tone! ~ the striations in the tones are simply wonderful, a very rare and beautifully time-touched piece. Panels of the wonderful Vichy check are hand stitched together to make this gorgeous length ~*~ ~ this fabric is a light weight cotton and is ideal for lampshades, decorative pillows or hanging. It was exposed to the sun for great periods of time and has thinned , so this piece is not suitable for upholstery ~*~ A wonderful wonderful fabric ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ( Vichy 906) MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful textile measures 110 inches long by 23 inches wide ~ CONDITION : I've hand laundered this beautiful fabric and it's ready to use ~*~ When held to the light, one can see many tiny holes along the bottom hemmed side ~ there are some very very small holes in the body and some pale small marks that didn't fully wash ~ a stunning piece for many timeworn projects ~*~ ~*~You will never have to pay any Customs or Duty charges on my textiles posted to an address within the United States, as I have already imported all of my European textiles and have paid any fees for you~*~ My shipping is always fast, so you can expect your purchase to arrive between 1-3 days after payment within the USA~*~ I always happily combine shipping charges to save my customers money on postage~~All of my textiles are wrapped in acid free tissue and posted in water tight wrapping at no extra charge to my customers*~* . ~ Please see my other Antique French fabric auctions by ~*~Please see my other items for more textile treasures~*~ ~*~For weekly updates, please add me to your favorites list !~*~ ~~*~Important information~*~ 100% Customer satisfaction is extremely important to me!
