Up for auction is an Antique Haviland Limoges Porcelain Oyster Plate decorated with Pink/Lavender/Green/& Blue Seaweed. The lovely scalloped edge is enhanced with gold gilding. The 5 wells and 1 small well in the center are separated by beautiful raised relief scrolling. Measuring 9" in diameter, the bottom bears the white ware mark of Haviland, "H&Co L France", as well as the factory decorating mark "Haviland & Co Limoges", used from 1888 to 1896. Excellent to mint condition with minor shelf wear to the bottom rim. Very nice piece for the Limoges Oyster Plate lover!
