This is a lovely and unusual example of a Majolica Pottery Comport dating from circa. 1890. The comport is decorated with a relief moulding of apples and pears, ... then finished in a rich glaze typical of majolica wares. The comport is in good condition. T are no cracks. T is a repaired chip on the back rim, ... this is not visible from the front and is shown in the photos. Top diameter : 9.1 ins. / 23.2 cms. Height : 2.5 ins. / 6.4 cms.
