This is a brand new 1810 Militia / Artillery Saber that was used throughout the 19th Century from the War of 1812, Texas Independence, Seminole & Black Hawk Wars, Mexican War and well into the American Civil War. Attached is an excerpt from the Book "The American Sword" regarding this blade. If you want to make an impression and not tote around the same 1860 Cavalry Saber everyone else is then this is it! It is brand new but given a patina finish to make it looked aged and battle hardened. No false makers marks etc!!
