This custom handmade knife is made by Colin Gregory Cox (Greg Cox), son of the well-know knife maker Colin Cox of Raymore , Missouri . Colin has been making knives since 1980 and is a voting member of the Knife Makers Guild. Colin and Greg previously lived in the Orlando , Florida , area and while t Colin was able to work with the former Mr. Bo Randall, of Randall Made Knives, doing repair work on knives in the Randall Museum . Greg has always had a desire to follow in his fatherâe(tm)s footsteps as a knife maker and has within the last year started making his own knives for sale. Greg is very detail oriented and his knives are already of collectible quality. This Super Sharp Handmade Fighter has a satin finished full 5" long blade made of 440-C Stainless steel and is 9 1/2" overall. The bolsters are fully polished made of 416 stainless steel. The handles are made of beautiful Select Desert Iron Wood with Mosaic stainless pins and a thong hole for a lanyard. The leather sheath with a diagonal strap was made by Floyd Byrd of Florida . Byrd worked for Randall and is one of the top Randall style sheath makers today.
