Monroe, Wave Crest pieces, to be sold over several auctions. This lot represents an ornate & gorgeous, Rare Helmschmeid Swirl, Mt. Washington Opal glass round blank, finished in a spectacular prolific, top and bottom matching bright autumn floral spray. This special pattern medium jewelry casket is in wonderful condition, dating between ca. 1894 & 1895, and carrying the RAREST OF ALL WAVE CREST MARKS - THE ORIGINAL EARLY WAVE CREST WARE PATENTED LABLE! Our treasure stands 5.25 x 5.25 x 3.5 inches tall, weighing 1# 8 oz. Helmschmeid Swirl boxes can be seen in The Glass Of C.F. Monroe / by Wilfred Cohen, and our box is absolutely Unique (only the second sticker we have ever seen!). This classic Mt.
