This unique box dates from 1902-1904, and features a dual pink & ivory ground with gorgeous blue spring flowers, and triple band ormolu joiner-work. Our treasure stands 6.5 x 6.5 x 4 inches tall, weighing 2# 4 oz., and is in excellent condition with minor tarnish. Helmschmeid Swirl boxes can be seen in The Glass Of C.F. Monroe / by Wilfred Cohen, on Pages #91 & #92,and our box finish is scarce. This classic Mt. Washington / Wave Crest heirloom is a must for any collector.
