Here is a beautifully restored Gamewell POLICE Telephone from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company. The Police Telephone Box is an original Gamewell Alarm "Inner Mechanism Box" made of cast aluminum. This is Not a replica Gamewell Box. However, attached to the front door of the Gamewell Box is a professionally reproduced copy of an original Police Call Box Instruction Plate. The Police Call Box and Telephone have a powder coated (baked on enamel) finish with professionally hand painted lettering.Attached along side of the Police Call Box is a 1930-40's Western Electric Model 211 Telephone that has been converted for use on today's telephone system. The telephone handset is the older F1 style and is made of bakelite. As expected the old bakelite handset will have slight signs of age, wear or use. The modern day telephone components are located inside of the Gamewell box. A "VoIP" Voice Over Internet Protocol Telephone System such as available through Vonage or other Internet carriers will require a converter not provided in this auction. This Gamewell Police Call Box Telephone will work fine with regular telephone services.This Gamewell Police Call Box Telephone has a one year limited warranty from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company and has been professionally restored.
