Old Primitive Firkin Sugar Bucket Up for sale is this really nice dark patina firkin. It measures 7 3/8" tall to the top of the lid, by about 11" tall when the handle is up, by 7 3/4" in diameter across the top, by 8 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. It has 3 lap bands. One on the lid and 2 on the bucket part. It is a very nice looking firkin in excellent condition. It has the nice dark coloring and patina that we all love. It is in excellent condition. I have left it untouched and as found. It had a paper label on the back side at one time, possibly was some advertising for something? It has some minor expected wear as shown to the lid and on the mushroom peggs on the handle. As you can see it is a nice looker! The lid goes on and comes off with ease. The handle swings properly. It's estimated age is early- mid 1900's. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Please feel free to request more photos, closeups, ask questions, etc...
